In addition to our curriculum, Fox Valley Virtual School places a strong focus on building meaningful relationships with students. We believe that education is relationship-driven and students grow stronger when there is mutual care between them and their school.

Parent Meetings
Every month, we hold parent meetings to foster an understanding of the curriculum and school work students are completing in class. For example, we may explain the math games students play, or address topics such as helping your student organize his/her own learning, or how to raise students who are strong digital citizens.
We want as many families as possible to attend our monthly meetings so times and dates will vary to accommodate the many diverse needs and schedules. Recordings are always available, as well as a live translator.
Parent Groups
There are parent groups hosted through Facebook where parents can connect, share tips, and meet online to enhance their child’s educational experience at Fox Valley Virtual School. Parents also can get email addresses of other parents in their student’s class and create groups.
Join a Club or Program
We offer extracurricular opportunities for interested students. Clubs include:
- Coding Club
- Yoga Club
- Dungeons & Dragons Club
- Esports Club
- Robotics Club
- Virtual Band and Orchestra
- Passion Projects
- Grade 6, 7 and 8 students can join any middle school extracurricular activities
